if you told me our guards would play that bad and we'd still win, I'd be pretty surprised. Whaley seems like he can be very good and Larrier requires no comment.

AG looked rusty, anxious and of course inexperienced. Also I think at this point in his game he needs Jalen at his side.

Not worried about Gilbert, Jalen or Christian.

They’ll be fine. Long season. Really liked how team adjusted on D second half. Front court is blue collar. Not raw. Not Uber talented - yet.

Yes, if you had said a week ago, you'd get very little out of Jalen Adams, AG and Vital, this would have been chalked up as a definite loss, especially since some people advised keeping Anderson and Larrier on the bench.

Agree. He has moves to get to hoop. Need him to continue. Same as needed Terry to take shots in preseason which many criticized.

I thought Gilbert was good tonight (especially on ball defense), except he looked terrible because he couldn't finish. The two airball threes made me cringe, though.

First half he messed up his switches on D repeatedly. Ended up doubling the guy the other defender switched to, and that left a Colgate player wide open for 3s. Lucky that guy missed.
