Taggart could be a bad hire, but is the statement based on anything more than an opinion? What do you know about Taggart contradicting his coaching success, recruiting reputation and connections in his home state, Florida, or Jim Harbaugh's opionion, "Any football program would be very lucky to have Willie Taggart as their head coach."? Facts?​

Guys, this is the type of hire UConn can expect to make after PP is fired post 2013 season unless we can get out of the flippin' Big East. Might be a reason Warde is sitting this coaching carousal on the sidelines??

Willie Taggart is a borderline home run hire, IMO. No idea what you guys are smoking if you don't think so.

Note - I do agree with Whaler that he's a definite flight risk from day 1.

No guarantees Taggart blows the doors off, but it remains a mystery why Taggart is not viewed as a quality hire for USF. Apparently, Gruden wasn't available.
