to the NCAA hockey tournament?
Probably not....just 16 entrants....no auto bid.

Frozen Four! Incredibly cool....very cool...almost cold nickname!

Title about getting an auto bid is wrong...messed it up,...my bad.

Can a mod erase my wrong title...I tried to correct it but the new one does not appear.
Thank you, Mod.

Nope.

Its all off a math formula, so we knew before the playoffs that they had to win to get the autobid. They're 100% out.

I fell asleep watching UMass/UConn last night. Only 8 bids makes it very difficult for UConn. What I will say is that both UConn and UMass have come a long way in a relative short time. UMass' program is less than 30 years old, while UConn made the jump from D3 to D1 less than 25 years ago. Both have nice on-campus facilities. UMass has a National Championship and a runner up in the past three years. UConn is on the right path.

Both schools have put the Hockey East Blue Bloods (to coin a phrase from A mid West 3 point sniper) on notice. BC was 15-18-5 this past season.

Went up last night, great experience. 12,000 in the building, both bands, great energy. Super high recommendation to attend next time UConn is in.

several years ago a few years after my son graduated from U of Mich we drove and golfed our way from CT to Mich to see a fb game. They happened to have a home hockey game that weekend, coincidentally for me against Quinnipiac because back then I lived 5 minutes from their campus. Anyway, their arena holds I think about 16000. We must’ve gotten the last two seats, in the rafters. Place was electric. Maybe UConn can get to be like that.

The Associate AD at Michigan in charge of hockey when they did the Yost Ice Arena renovation?

Warde Manuel.
