Will tonight play out like the Dayton team?

2 years ago we faced a similar well coached Cinderella who pulled upsets over bigger schools seemingly leaving for "easier" opponent.

Instead we had to bite our nails for 30 minutes.

The big difference between Oregon and that Dayton team seems to be in experience, Dayton is experienced while Oregon was young. But both teams remind me of one another. I guess we will soon find out.

UConn refused to play defense in that game early on, I remember Geno yelling at the team saying that not one person put a hand up or something to that effect, and I think it fueled Dayton's confidence. One of the hallmarks of UConn basketball, to quote the Duquesne coach, is taking the opponent's soul in the first five minutes of the game. It would be nice if we see that killer instinct right from the tip tonight. When UConn is in its pirahnas on a roast mode no one can beat them. Too bad we couldn't just play USF for the next three games.
