Will this years top 4 seeds match last year's Final Four?

If the selection committee chooses the top four seeds as UConn, South Carolina, Texas, UCLA, no one will be surprised.

Many will note that this choice means this year's top four seeds are exactly the same as last year's final four.

That's unusual but not unprecedented.

In 2012 the Final Four teams were:
Baylor
Notre Dame
Stanford
UConn

The following year, 2013, the selection committee picked the following teams as the top four seeds:
Baylor
Notre Dame
Stanford
UConn

That's the only time in the history of the NCAA women's tournament that this has occurred (so far).

They have come close on other occasions.

It is interesting to note in the prior six instances where three or four of the final four teams were the following years top seeds, UConn was one of the teams in all but one year.
