According to Creme's bracketology, GW is last in but can be pushed out if some lower conference favorites lose resulting in poor teams punching their ticket.

How they lost to Duquense (7th seed) I will never know. GW was a 2 seed and lost in their home building after having a large lead in 4th quarter.

I'm pretty sure the game took place in Richmond, not in GW's home gym. But yeah, that loss hurts.

When I look at GW's resume, I can't help but think, "Lucky for them it's such a soft bubble year." Seriously, in most years their resume wouldn't even get a second look. Best win is over Dayton, and only other top-50 win is over Western Kentucky, a team that wouldn't receive an at-large bid.
