There is Wifi on the entire campus. You just need access. I can understand why, for security reasons, they only give access to staff, students and authorized guests/vendors. You can still get internet with your data package,

I get a great signal across the street in the parking garage. I don't bring my phone inside events or restaurants. So I wouldn't know.

There is no data inside when everyone is in there.

I also couldn't get my gf's uconn-secure wifi or the uconn guest wifi to work in there.

I like to check stats at halftime. Wasn't an option yesterday.

Internet reception inside Gampel used to be ok several years ago. Every year it seems to get worse and worse. These days it can be a real struggle.

For over four years Ive given up trying to get internet in Gampel - I don't get it because it used to be ok but a little shaky now its crap
No such issue at the Civic Center (I know but I still refer to the dump as that name)

Here are his original notes on the subject:

The amazing thing is that cellphones hadn't even been invented when he was designing Gampel!

I have to agree. I was just in some random hole in the wall restaurant in the countryside in Colombia with more cows than people and I got wifi, no reason Gampel can't have it.
