Why was Glenn Miller fired?

When you consider that the last name of the TV family from "whatcha talkin' bout Willis?" fame was Drummond, it all makes a lot more sense.
That show was Diff'rent Strokes and Arnold and Willis's surname was "Jackson" before they were adopted.

Craziness...

Was there ever a reason?

He was fired because after the worst season in 30 years, someone had to be the scapegoat. Miller was chosen because he didn't fit Ollie's yes men squad that he has assembled. Miller represented the last respected coach left over from Calhoun's tenure, and Ollie being insecure wanted to cut that link.

Ollie is looking for people who frame things in a "positive" light and hence the arrival of Killings and Chillious.

PS: Anyone who thinks Miller was responsible for the zone defenses we played is out of their mind. Ollie is playing almost exclusively zone this year again, what's the excuse now that Miller is gone. It's Ollie not Miller that was the problem.

What if Miller committed recruiting violations without Ollie's knowledge. What if he is the reason for the inquiry/investigation. Probably not but until we know more, anything is possible. Why all the silence over the reasons for the inquiry. Don't we usually know more by now. In this day of instant news releases and instant communication, it seems like we're in a blackout period in so many ways.

I can promise that there’s some stupid stuff going on with KO. Keeping Boo Willingham close to the program is stupid. Having NBA alums contact recruits is stupid. “Secretly” having someone work out players in the off season is stupid. Sniff around and you’ll find an unimaginable amount of stupid.

He screw up the Diallo and Colson recruitment. Colson's dream school was UCONN. We went after the wrong prom date

Isn't more on the head man to set the priorities once recruitment starts?
