-> "I'm bigger, faster, stronger and I'm 210 pounds now. All the numbers we've had during the offseason, I've gotten nothing but faster. I'm very excited. I can't wait for the season. It's going to be a big year." <-

-> "As a group, we've laid a great foundation," Rosa said. "Last year was a step back. Between the first year under Jim Mora and last year, we know exactly what we need to fix. We've got a bunch of new transfers and coaches on the staff. We know exactly what we need to fix and we're fixing that. We're all ready. We're all excited with a new, fresh team. We're all ready to make plays and show you guys what's up." <-

-> "I look at what we did with our depth in the running back room with who we brought in through the portal and even a freshman, and we have five guys there who are all competitive and can go into a game and do good things," Mora said. <-

-> "There will be new names all over the field making plays that you guys haven't seen in a Huskies jersey before," Rosa said. "The transfers are definitely going to help us win games this year. All of us on the team are going to help win games this year. It's going to be a different team out there that you see. You're going to see new names, new faces, and old faces that have gotten better in all aspects of the game that will be making plays." <-

Glad to see Victor is pumped for the upcoming season. I hope he can go through injury free and establish a run game that allows whoever our QB is to spread the field with a supporting pass offense.

How did Rosa look in the open scrimmage? I don't remember any commentary about him.

Last year, he didn't seem to have the same burst that he did his freshman year. I wasn't sure if that was due to injury or the o-line just not opening holes. If we have any kind of a passing game to prevent opposing teams from loading up the box, I'd expect Rosa to have a breakout year this year, if healthy.

I'm ready. I picked up his T-shirt at the scrimmage.
