Ben Kantor filled one spot, the team’s former director of video who stepped in as a temporary assistant during the 2021 NCAA Tournament when both Geno Auriemma and Shea Ralph were absent due to COVID-19. The other went to [B]Tonya Cardoza[/B], an assistant from 1994 until 2008, when she took over the head job at Temple. Even though she’d been away from the program for 15 years Cardoza stepped in like she hadn’t missed a day.
