I think the MAC would be a good conference for UConn Football at least in the short term as it bolsters its football program. The MAC is a conference UConn could compete in from the get-go, regional, with similar universities, all public in the 16k-33k enrollment range. Kids that don't get into a B1G program could see UConn as an option because they'd still get some games close to home while experiencing the Northeast, NYC, Boston.
