Sure we need to "get tougher", "want it more", etc... but why do most coaches, players and analysts always shy away from saying a team needs to improve offensively? In our 4 recent "question mark" games, this is what the stat sheets says:

*** Stanford: 2nd half, 13 pts on 5-31 shooting
*** Houston: 1st half, 28 pts on 8-26 shooting
*** SMU: 65 pts, 36% shooting
*** Harvard: 61 pts, 10 assists

Possibility of some different defensive looks to quicken the pace of the game? More creative play calling?

On the radio call of a recent game, Wayne Norman said: "UConn has to get tougher, get to the 50-50 balls and mix it up." To which Joe D. simply replied: "How about we make some shots?"
