Why don't BTN or PAC air other sports?

It would seem like a college sports network has lots of dead prime time -- the summer, most fall weeknights.
And of course the PAC has terrible carriage nationally.

Curious why they don't make efforts to fill up some of that time and raise viewership. Say like cover the National Lacrosse League (BTN) or pro beach volleyball (PAC) in the summer. Yes it's slightly off brand, but they could highlight alums.

I suppose costs might make it not worth it.

Because CBS Sports Digital broadcasts all of those lacrosse games...streamed or PPV.

Hmm...start a pro water polo league and I bet the PAC would televise it. Of course, Hartford would not get a team... I don't think water polo is big in New England.

I tried water polo once, but my horse drowned...:)
