Early in the fourth he warmed up.

Game was over.

Pindell gets hurt season can just be cancelled, so no benefit to playing him.

Washington could have gotten some burn against 2s and 3s and if he is called on it might not look like Williams’ debut.

That was really odd. I know he’s not ready but the odds Pindell plays 12 games with the amount of running he does is pretty slim...
 
Speaking of Williams, was he one of the 9 guys who caught a pass? Don’t think I saw him.
 
I was wondering this too. The only explanation is that they feel pretty good about the team and want to get Pindell more game reps

Our staff might have thought that we would get another possession but it did not happen. UCF had subbed pretty substantially so Washington should have gotten some experience. I would have subbed him in for that reason. It is a long year.

Don’t know if that is the case but for day 2 of the season there are a lot of bad signs.

The funniest one is that Carrazola would have been less subtle if he tweeted a middle finger.

Did they not play Washington to boost Pindell's confidence? Washington needs some playing time -- even if heaven forbid something happens to Pindell.
 
When was the last time we had a QB play all the games in a season?

Couldn't have hurt to have given the kid some reps.
