Make no mistake, in a program that prides itself on dominating on both sides of the court, no college basketball player can do more thing on both ends than Stewart. Yet this most amazing run is not one person. It is Tuck. It is Jefferson. They complete the holy trinity of dominance.

"When my guys know that the challenge is huge," Auriemma said, "those three seniors usually come up huge.

"The fun part is the look in their eyes when they are getting ready to play in a game like this is quite different than any other time. Not that they take anyone lightly, don't get me wrong. But the biggest moment …"

Means the best moments.

"Those three? I appreciate them more and more every day," Auriemma said. "Sometimes I start to blink and look out there and realize next year they're not going to be out there. Then I really appreciate them."

They are, from start to finish, the best class in program history.

This obviously translates into the top class in WBB history.

3 players with 'National Player of the Year' talent at 3 different positions including the all-important point guard position and the player with perhaps the most complete skillset on both ends of the floor to step on a women's college basketball court.

I think the best threesome in a single recruiting class.

Well... the TASK recruitment class may beg to differ...

But, "best threesome", maybe... pretty, pretty good, and (with a nod to Larry David) I may agree that the current threesome is better.

TASK was close, but Asjha and Tamika were not 1st team AA. Sue was 2x, I believe, and Swin 1 or maybe 2x. Sue was NPOY. Stewie will be a 3x AA and 3x NPOY. Moriah will be a 2x AA. Morgan could be a 1x or 2x AA. If we can get 7 AA selections out of a single recruiting class, that is historic.

Agreed, but as the Queen of WBB coaches at that time, Pat Summitt, said after visiting and congratulating the Huskies in their locker room after the game (paraphrased), "I am glad to see them graduate."

That's gotta be worth a tie, at least...

And Geno is carrying 5 cell phones to handle all the calls from coaches who want to schedule the Huskies NEXT year. ;)

That was a great class, but I'll take this class of 3 over that class of 4 (5 until an unfortunate injury). Nobody in that class was in the same stratosphere as Stewart, Tuck is a better offensive player than either Williams, Cash, or Jones and as great as Bird was in college, Jefferson is as good a point both offensively and defensively as the program has developed.

I just hope that that last quote from Geno does not mean that he knows something that we don't.

If you mean Morgan, I don't think he knows. I think he's assuming she's leaving, which is smart. He'd welcome her back in a heartbeat. I think she hasn't decided, but probably stays. Senior Night/Day may give us a hint.

If these 3 finish the job that only an injury to one of them can derail, there is no question this is the premier class in the storied history of UConn. Last nights game was a tour de force by those three. It makes you so proud as a fan to see them rise collectively when it matters most. #impressive
