Slight oversight in academic eligibility caused the country's #2 high school game to forfeit a few games this year.

How many games? Try 24. Why? Channeling your best Lebron, not one ineligible player, not two ineligible players, not three ineligible players, not four ineligible players, not five or six. No, it was having seven players on the team ineligible. Much like being 17 and impregnating your 14 year old cousin, it just happens.

Chicago Curie Metropolitan High School's basketball team, ranked No. 2 in the nation, has forfeited this year's games because several players were academically ineligible to compete, public schools officials announced Friday.
Chicago Public Schools said seven players on Curie's 24-1 varsity team were ineligible from the start of the 2013-14 season.
