interesting stat I heard on mike and mike this morning. No team with a player who averages >25 ppg has ever made it to the final four. Buddy heild PPG: 25

I'm shooting from the hip but want to call BS on that stat. I'm pretty sure Alcinder or Walton must have averages 25 PPG.

The winner of UConn vs Kansas wins it all. I have two brackets, one each way. It's self-serving, but there you have it.

Other three final four teams: A&M, WVU and Carolina. But really those are toss-ups. I give roughly equal odds to A&M, UVA, UNC, MSU, WVU and OU.

Real quick search pulls up Alcinder averaging well over 25 ppg. Same with Larry Legend. Even jj at dook average 26 ppg.

Maybe reference was to a PG who averages 25 ppg?

Can we beat Colorado first?

Michigan St over UConn in the final. In 2014, I had UConn losing to State in the regional final and then the Spartans winning it all. Don't want to jinx myself, so sticking with the same thing this year :)

This is the only time it's acceptable .. if the precedent has been set. But any of you other ninnies putting a team that doesn't start with a U and end with a Conn needs to get to rethinking real quick.

UConn over Oklahoma
Iowa State over West Virginia
Just made my picks totally blind of any input from any source and I ended up with exactly this, except I have WVU over ISU, and us over WVU, of course.

Dude...this is about brackets. I don't think they let us wait to fill them out.

Ah, I digress. However, completely disagree with the winner of Kansas UConn wins it all.

Well I went to both schools...so that's what I'm choosing in my two brackets. It completely blows that I can't get both teams to the sweet 16 this year.

I think they meant since the field expanded to 64 teams. I was only half paying attention though.

Did you really have to include that one? The first two were sufficient to make your point.

maybe it was for pg, or maybe since a specific year, just looked up Lew Alcindor's stats and he throws that theory out the window

I wanted to make sure I included a post-64 team field and any other arbitrary timeline metric just to make up a reason why some believe Buddy scores too much for Oklahoma to make the FF. Plus UConn abused him in the '04 semis.
