With similar volume (171 to 186 I think), Clingan is shooting the 3pt shot in the NBA better than Solo is in for UConn this year (33% to 30% roughly).

I think Solo is showing signs he might be snapping out of his funk, but that stat floored me. I know DC hit a few his last year here, but still.

That is a crazy stat. Hopefully Solo continues his upward trajectory

He's probably been blocked less too.

He's got an all around stat line: 11.9 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.1 turnovers, 1.5 blocks. Recent games even better.

Crazy stat. I would like to see what %of practice time nba players, at all positions, devote to 3s

I don't find that stat particularly "crazy." Degree of difficulty matters. How many threes does Clingan take that aren't stand still, feet set, relatively wide open?

.-.
The crazy thing is Hurley obviously doesn't let Reibe shoot the 3, and he shoots it at around 40% (granted it is a small sample size), but the problem is by not being a threat at the top of the key defenders sag off him and are there to help on backdoor cuts which we have converted surprisingly few this year comparted to years past.

Besides the fact that he is a shooter, just by making himself a threat he puts more pressure on the defense and will open up alleys for the rest of team and what the heck he will probably make them at a good clip.
