Espn put on the screen briefly right after the game ended and before they shifted coverage back to the floor. What was their purpose?

They've done that all tourney. I don't understand why. We get it ESPN you've got SportsCenter and it only replays 15 times a day so you gotta show it as much as possible. God forbid they stay with extended coverage for an event that happens once a year, never mind the fact that it was historic #10.

Hey Espn, when are you going to learn we want to watch the after game ceremony and not Sportscenter or the two dumb$&&'s who don't give a hoot about WBB? Biggest pet peeve, ever single year.

This isn't CPTV anymore. ESPN caters to a much larger audience than the UConn contingency. I thought they showed PLENTY of postgame coverage.

Saw the whole post-game, net cutting, etc, on ESPN3. Also the presser. I get that they can't show all of that on TV, and appreciate the large amount of live content they make available.

Don't take it personally, espn does that after every game ends and sportscenter is up next, did it a lot for the cfb bowl games

When will some realize that ESPN is a business and it has to appeal to/include its greater audience? Watch ESPN3 if you want nuts and bolts.

ESPN does it all the time. It's stupid. And those guys were exceptionally bad- one was worse- the one on our left. It was like Dumb & Dumber!

SNY was great. Wonderful to see Kara and Gary reflecting back from the beginning of the season and all the uncertainties to the big sigh of relief and smiles of accomplishment at the end. And always nice to see Kerith and Meghan too for their brief bits from the site.

And yeah, ESPN is at least trying to expand the audience to a larger group of the standard sports fan who is more on the male side, but having a quick (but seemed two minutes too long) cut to two yahoos acting as if they had had a big bet on the game, and yahoo #1 acting so proud that he was smart enough to pick UConn -- that does seem weird, and not sure what kind of audience that will pick up.

I wasn't criticizing ESPN's overall coverage; it was very good. I just thought these two buffoons added nothing to the party. It seemed like they were trying to be part of the show and grab attention and pretending to know what they are doing.

That "buffoon" was just doing his job. Can't we just celebrate the moment?
