This place is getting dry, so let’s start a discussion.

With no added context, it would seem obvious that Newton was brought in to play the point, as a high profile transfer.

Diarra was seen as a lower key pickup, but has since earned heavy praise from the head coach, who has said if he doesn’t start, he’ll play starters minutes.

With Jackson’s injury, it does leave open the possibility of both players starting to begin the season. Which I’m not opposed to seeing either.

What do y’all think?

Newton, Alleyne, Hawkins, Karaban, Sanogo game 1

Newton, Hawkins, Jackson, Sanogo and whoever plays better between Alleyne and Karaban for the 5th spot eventually
This is probably the answer.

All you had to do was put Samson and we would’ve agreed again. So close

so, Johnson isn't in the picture now?
I assume it’s still a tossup between him and Karaban, with Karaban’s injury a potential factor early on. I don’t think anyone has any solid evidence it’s decided yet.

I don’t see Newton and Diarra starting together. It’s easier to start two point guards when you have a third available on the bench.
