@Baller29 brings up an interesting discussion-Guard play at LSU seems pretty set but Mulkey has had to rely on the portal more and more for her front court play which is really odd considering all the success she had a Baylor bringing in Frontcourt players. She did bring in Koval this past year and had a top 10 player in Rosario (and even Jersey Wolfenbarger) who all underperformed are underperforming their rankings. The portal will allow her to get someone from somewhere. Finding a true quality portal big is not as easy as one would imagine. Williams and Koval have both drastically underperformed as two marquee names from last year and I think Barker has underperformed as well at Tennessee (especially considering the $800K she was given). Ashley Sofilkanich at Michigan has been a nice spare part for their national prominent run and Laura Zigler has been great at Louisville but other than that, I am hard pressed to think of any other big who has done anything.

It will be curious to see what front court players hit the portal this year...I do think Kim will find someone to come into that program, given her coaching pedigree and of course all the $'s that can be thrown at the player.

If Vandy can go 3-0 or 2-1 over their final stretch I think Blakes has this locked up. If Vandy loses multiple games, I think it becomes more interesting but she still should be the front runner.

Given what Vandy has done and Blake’s’ role, she gets the nod.

Raven really is the glue to everything. It may not always reflect in stat sheet but Dawn will definitely tell you they’ll miss her dearly next year. Smart player, makes good decisions consistently
