I'm opening this up to the General Board because this is about all college hoops, and actually more broadly college sports. I'm going to be starting a site that allows every day folks, like us and the millions of other college sports fans, to interact with the data in a very simple and visual way - starting with college hoops (M and W). Incorporating both basic and some advanced metrics. What I've seen out there is almost purely data tables, which are fine, but it's not easy to play around with the data as much. The possibilities are endless, which is why I want to know what folks would want the most of.

So, I'm asking (OK, a touch of begging too) to complete a short 5-question survey to help inform what this will look like. If this is something you are specifically interested in and would like to be more involved, then reach out to me over DM or just comment here. I'll need some folks to do testing down the road, etc. It's going to be a lot of fun!

Survey: Sport Stats Interactive Market Survey

Lastly, my social connections are limited (kindly meaning that I don't leave the house much), so please feel free to share this on any other college sports boards you may be a part of. I'm going to be sharing it in some other places too but I know I can't hit everything, and I'd like as much market insight as possible.

I think this is an idea many of us will be able to enjoy, so thank you in advance for your input! :)

I would be interested, especially when it comes to basketball, baseball, and softball data. A lot would depend on the time commitment. But yeah. I love data and would be interested.

Awesome, thank you! It'll be a very low time commitment...mostly just providing feedback on different visuals and the site itself. The former is happening over the couple months, the latter may be moreso mid/late Summer. I'll DM you to get your info to reach out. Appreciate it very much! We're starting with basketball and then it's TBD from there but the idea is definitely to have Softball and Baseball included earlier on.

Feedback on one of the questions.

For various sports I think the categories were: follow one team
follow the entire sport
don't follow.

I admire the BYers that have tremendous knowledge both deep and historical of all WBB. I tend to follow closely the Huskies and three other teams (Sun Devils, NAU Jacks and Grand Canyon) rather closely although not as closely as many of you. So that question might have generated interesting results if you added a category for follow multiple teams.

From my reading of the postings on the BY I don't think I'm alone in that many fans having a pretty significant interest and knowledge in teams across conferences or teams within a conference.

You are right, I'll find a better way to phrase it because the point really is either multiple teams or just a broader interest in the sport. Great feedback, thank you!
