I know Stone, who else should we be looking at or excited for? I really like our signings of Adams and Enoch

At this point, it's just Stone and some anti-NBA prayers.

We should go after Kapita, Melvin Frazier and put all our marbles towards Newman, not only to get him but to aid in Stone's decision

Dunno how recently we've been in on Smith or Cobb. Of course half of this board will be up in arms because neither are Top 100, but I would rather have one of them come in and develop as a 4-year player then not bring anyone else in. Obviously it hurts that we couldn't clinch any of the big-name guys, but you never know where the next Terrence Samuel is coming from.

Stone and... hope for somebody to opt out of some other program, or some lower-ranked kid to blow up this winter.

Calhoun had a knack for landing guys like that late in the day. Maybe Ollie will show some of the same this spring.

Also worth noting that Ollie seems completely comfortable playing this season with only 10 scholarship players. If we lose Boat and add only Adams & Enoch, that'll put us at 11 next year with solid depth in both the front- and back-court.

All that said... anybody know if we're still on guys like Curtis Cobb or Jared Wilson-Frame?

Stone is the big one. If we get him, think the door reopens for Newman.

Also important to remember we have 5 sophs in our rotation and 1 frosh and 2 top 100 players signed. Some of these schools that are dominating the trail dont have anyone. Marquettes tallest player right now is 6'7 lol

Get Diamond Stone and it's a wildly successful recruiting year. Leave the remaining scholarship open for Newman, another spring surprise, or for 2016.

Even if we miss on Stone and leave two open scholarships for 2016, we're still fine if we recruit well that year.

Stone or bust. For the record, I love our chances at Stone, and gun to my head I would honestly say UConn. But if we don't get him, I have no problem packing it in for 2015, unless Purvis or Hamilton goes pro, because then I feel we would really need another 2-3. Then, 4 or so prospects in 2016 including 2 wings. Kegler, King, Vance Jackson will all be key.

Rankings don't matter, so why can't we just grab a 3 from EO Smith or South Windsor?

Nobody really thinks we are going to get Stone, do they?
With recruits like Skal, Briscoe, Brunson, and pretty much every Kentucky recruit ever, picking a school other than their hometown school, i would hope we could do it too with Stone

I was thinking the same thing about Stone and Newman This seem to be falling in our favor. We was late in on Mack fell off on Jones and I really didn't think Bricoe was serious about UConn. Maybe KO know something we will know soon. I'll love this class of 15' if
