After todays win with Tennessee beating Kansas.... I was left wondering who I would want to make the Final Four. Baylor or Holly Warlick's Tennessee squad. While I would love to see Baylor knocked off, I would also love to see Tennessee not make the Final Four this year. This would be the first group not to make the Final Four.

But I think we all need to be honest.... and acknowledge the great job that Warlick has done with this team.

Point is moot. Even if everyone in orange land had their own personal genie granting 3 wishes, they're still not beating Baylor.

Unless, of course, Jeff Gillooly reappears on the scene.

Call me crazy but I think Tenn has a chance against Baylor. Can't play a 1st half like they did today. They have the 3 point shooters to cause Baylor problems. Also have the depth to rotate players on Griner if any get into foul trouble.

Tennessee doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of beating Baylor. Tennessee's bread and butter is the offensive putback, and the uncontested layup. That just is not going to happen with Griner in the middle.

Tenn beat the most overrated #3 seed ever and the one of the last teams to get in the field of 64 to get to the elite eight. Let see if they can hang with baylor on Monday. I think they will get blown out

After watching Baylor in the first half of the GT game, and having watched the way UT started their game, I cannot imagine UT beating Baylor. Griner and Williams are killing it in the paint and the guards are playing incredible pressure defense.

If anyone had any question about the POY, I hope they are watching Griner in this game. If votes have not been cast yet, she should win a lot of votes today. Man she is dominating.

Tenn won't come out tomorrow like they did in the 1st half against Kansas. While I do expect Baylor to win, if Tenn is hitting their 3 point shots they can cause Baylor some problems. If Meghan Simmons plays out of control and tries to drive against Baylor's defense, it won't look pretty.

Three point shots seem to be much harder to hit when they are the basis of your offensive attack instead of being a result of being able to get into the paint. Those threes will be much harder to hit on Monday. By the time Simmons gets into the game Baylor may have a substantial lead.

I thought GT would give Baylor a game for about 30 minutes...... I was mistaken

Not predicting who wins, but Griner deserves to win, so I'd like to see her there.

If Huskies make it to the last game, I'd rather have them trying to stop the 40-0 record than any alternative.

enough geesh... everyone knows Baylor is the favorite to win it all, you're passively rubbing it in IMO

Doesn't matter too much to me. If UConn makes the championship round (which it would have to for the outcome of this game to be directly relevant), it would have been quite an accomplishment this season, win or lose.

Having said that, this particular season...it would be better to beat Baylor and worse to lose to Tennessee.

Odd...you commented on Baylor being the favorite yet you highlighted the POY part. Just kills some people to admit that she is so far beyond any other player in college.

The key to Baylor is not getting Griner into foul trouble... which would be wonderful... but going at Simms and hope that she can land two early fouls. Could you imagine them without their point guard for most of the first half? Again, foul trouble for Griner is also important... but aim for the floor general.

What is this so-called depth? Despite what the commentators said, TN plays 6 or 7 players. In the KS game, five players had 30+ minutes.

Their depth is a myth.

The Lady Vols can bring off the bench Vicki Baugh, Cierra Burdick & Isabelle Harrison to rest Glory Johnson if she needs it or gets into foul trouble. All can lay a body on Griner. Will they be effective, probably not, but they are bodies. The key to the game is will Tenn hit enough 3 point shots to make it a game and how many points does Stricklen score. Still think Baylor wins, but Tenn can make a game of it, if they bring their A Game.

I think the illusion of depth is created by starting the 5 seniors. Then, before you know it, Simmons and Massengale are in the game and two" starters" are mostly sitting.

So Johnson is going to take on the entire Baylor front line herself?

I assume Glory & Baugh will get decent minutes together, so Baugh is not really a backup for her. And saying that Burdick and Harrison can come off the bench is almost equivalent to saying UConn has Michala Johnson to bring off the bench to guard BG. Griner will absolutely destroy any of those.
