I have been an avid dook hater for years but I have found my disdain waining in resent months as my dislike of the scumbag defectors increases everyday. I used to route for the BE (except) Gtown (Pe-twooey!) against almost any team from any other conference- now that there really is not a BE anymore.... you get the idea.

Who do you like? Are we an island in a sea of D bag teams?

Resently I have tried to route for IU- good fans (always classy when we played them). I could use a few more and none come to mind.

WE ARE DOOMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like Michigan, was a fan of the Fab 5 growing up and Beilein(sp) seems to be an ok dude from the outside looking in. Love watching Trey Burke play, of the major contenders for a title they're the team I would be the most cool with winning a title without having my blood pressure spike.

I used to root for Temple. With a glaring conflict of interest next year I have began waning myself away from them. I like any team that beats the acc currently...even moreso than before with the snubbings. This weekend I was a big nova fan too but that only lasted two hours.

I will never ever EVER root conference again like I used to. I don't care where we end up (or don't end up).

I go with Michigan St out of the BCS schools, then Gonzaga and Butler from the other conferences.

There are teams that I don't mind winning, especially when they beat teams I hate. I will hate all the C7 (did anyway, although Seton Hall never much mattered). Hate all the ACC except perhaps WF. Indifferent to the nBE, B1G, B12 and Pac 12. Hate UK and UF, the rest of the SEC are irrelevant.

I love Beilein(sp!). The Gansy, Pittsnogle, Herbert team was one of my favorite basketball teams ever (1-3-1 d and 5 outside the stripe chuck and backdoor offense) Add that I harbor no ill will for Michigan and you have my adopted team for the NCAA's. By the way, Michigan is very similar to Kentucky last year at this point in the season in that they are a crazy outlier for winning % at their avg class per minute. They are one of the youngest teams in the country.

I route for the Major Mids like Gonzaga and VCU and Butler because screw the haves/have nots paradigm. Watch out for Witchita St. this year.

I still like Louisville.....they did what we would have done, no choice!! They have solid fans (Senore for one) and have pretty much respected our fan base throughout their BE time.......

Butler, Michigan, and for some reason, KU.

I fine myself rooting for KU on a regular basis. have no idea why but im usually a fan of their team. if it werent for uconn i problably wouldve ended up a KU fan. no rhyme or reason just really liked their program since the rex walters adonis jordan days.

I agree with you both. I have no reason either but I have liked them. This year I'm a huge fan of Ben McLemore. He's a great player and my favorite player to watch in college.

There are several teams I never have a problem rooting for. I've always liked Cincy going back to when they were in CUSA. Also, I always thought Mich St was a solid hard working team. My best friend went to Wisconsin so I tend to pull for them but their style can make your eyes bleed. Living in LA there are too many 'fans' for UCLA and USC who know nothing about basketball until their team has a decent season so for Pac10, I tend to favor Arizona or Oregon. UConn could learn some things from Oregon (other than how to paint a court - good lord). Oregon makes it fun for their fans with cool uniforms and good systems that don't actually make your eyes bleed. They have it right in terms of not expecting the fans to turn out, but instead encouraging them to. I have too much envy with Michigan getting over 100,000 fans to watch a football game to like them - for some reason, I enjoy 100,000 pissed off fans leaving a stadium - it's flaw in my character, but I accept it. That said, they're my pick to win it all this year.

Yale, Quinnipiac, Hartford. Oh, teams who might win a few? Wisconsin, Temple, St. Joe's.

Wake, Okie State.

Saw the Rodney Rodgers, Childress and Duncan period in person

Going to the old Gallager-Iba arena got me hooked, I actually liked it better than Allen fieldhouse.

Fortunately, I have some other alma maters to cheer for this year...Texas (likely won't make Tourney thanks to the lovely NCAA) and SDSU.

I also always respected Beilein and the military sent me to a ten day course at Indiana two +years ago, so they are almost like an alma mater.

Nah...Still contaminated by Squid Scum...Pastner cheated in recruiting under the Squid and is now dishonest on his own.
By that same logic (guilt by association) one could say the same about Ollie. Except in this case there is evidence of mumbles cheating. I for one will give Ollie the benefit of the doubt until he give me reason not to

Oh man the pain is still there huh Clothy........give it a break. You went from the biggest cheat ever who ruined your program to a local kid who coached right next to him.......doesn't mean Derek is a bad dude now does it.......and if he is he ain't doing a good job of cheating.........and good news is they aren't checking. They don't win enough and irrelevancy sucks! Have a fun day!

Been a loyal Huskies fan since I was a kid (a long time ago)... over the years for some reason, perhaps fed by the media, I've always kept an eye on Kansas. Love them as a team, love their fan base, history, success and the quality of players that they have been putting into the NBA for years.

Also, I work for the Longhorn Network (Univ. of Texas), so I am a fan of theirs by default. Hook 'em Horns!... nah... Go Huskies!

Northwestern (as I keep mentioning, I was accepted into the business school, but still I chose UConn due to my home and fanship, every year I pull for them to get into the NCAA Tourney)
Ohio State (just a team that excels in whatever the heck they play in)
Kansas (not really sure I like them as well)
Virginia (not sure either...)

Mid-majors:
All of the inner-CT schools, I like to see how other programs fare in CT.
Northeastern (Calhoun's legacy says it all)
VCU (very good mid-major)
UNLV (the original shock the world team)

Former BE teams:
Seton Hall (do I have to repeat?)
