Looking forward to next year, assuming top teams strengths and weakness, I think of the top 8: UConn will match up well against: Notre Dame, UCLA, and Texas, and poorly against: South Carolina, USC, and NC State Notre Dame will match up well against: South Carolina, Texas, USC and Poorly Against: NC State, Uconn, and UCLA South Carolina will match up well against everybody. The only teams they might struggle with are: Notre Dame and UCLA I'm too lazy to do the rest but really trying to show the point that a team could be the second best team in the country next year and the 5th best team in the country could have a better chance of beating the number 1 team (south carolina) than them.
