Probably could have worded the title better, but which Conference schedules do you think are the best.. in terms of days of the week in which they play. You got the ACC, Big 10, SEC doing the Thurs/Sunday...... The Big South with the Tues/Saturday... the SoCon with the Thursday/Saturday the Pac 12 doing the Fri/Sun. Feel free to add other conference schedules

I like Thursday/Sunday. Friday/Sunday would be the worst because I work especially late on Fridays.

I want them to spread the games around a bit, like the men's conferences do. When everyone's playing on the same day there are too many games all at once.

The Ivy league has a Friday/Saturday schedule and they play a different team for those back to backs games.

The Ivy League does "pairs" as does the Big East (that might change when UConn comes along) and of course that is a central facet of the PAC. Generally the 2 games are in relatively close proximity. The PAC pairs are the Arizona schools, Northern Cal, LA, Washingtons, Oregons, and Utah / Colorado.

To the original question, I like the Friday / Sunday of the PAC. It also interferes less with school.

I like the Thursday/Sunday as it seems like my kids’ basketball games are never that evening and the week is starting to slow down. Sunday afternoon is great because it’s a relaxing time to come home from church, eat a big lunch and watch basketball. Also, both days are the best options to travel to home games in Starkville.

Before the most recent expansion.... The ACC used to have games on Friday/Sunday. As an attending fan, I loved that.... I love attending Friday Night Games. I think the atmosphere on a Friday night is better than a thursday night.... at least for games that I attended. Non-school night.....dont have to worry about being in a hurry to get back home to get ready for work the next day... and so on. For the Student Athlete and coaches... the Thursday-Sunday split is better... in terms of travel and rest. The Colonial does the Friday/Sunday split... but their conference is a bit more manageable in terms of geographical size.

I like the Thursday/Sunday set-up. With the ACC Network running now, on Sunday you'll have games on ACCN, SECN, BTN plus ESPN2. Four games all day until about 6 on Sundays.

Pac 12 WBB plays Friday & Sunday. This allows the Pac 12 Network to show MBB on Thursday and Saturday.
Case in point when the Oregons went to the Mountain schools on Thursday & Saturday to allow for Oregon's trip to UConn, television coverage was limited to regional Pac 12 Mountain for the two WBB games. Watched all four games but on my Ipad not my big screen. Sigh.

If the goal is to grow the game and attendance (and it is), the game needs as much exposure as possible so show flexibility with the days being played like the Big10 has teams alternate Sun/Mon so could the Big 12, ACC and SEC by sprinkling in my Tuesday concern with their normal Thursday allotment.
Good matchups will produce attendance regardless of day.
let’s get out of 1990’s scheduling...
