F this Roscoe, the fans love you. Nobody is bashing you even though you've turned your back on us. Change your mind, you are one of us.

Roscoe leaving really bugs me. Whether he is in the NBA or an insurance agent in Albuquerque, I want Roscoe to be a lifelong Husky. He is the quintessential UConn guy. I hoped he would grow into a KFree type legend because of his great motor and warrior type attitude. He shouldn't be going anywhere.

your right hoophound Roscoe is my favorite player on this UCONN team and I do not want to see him go. Calhoun should do w/e it takes to keep him and let him play the small forward spot like he wants to play and the position he was recruited to play. Scoe you will not be disrespected anymore and you will be a main player on this team. Give Scoe what he wants and stop treating him like a role player. Scoe UCONN nation needs you. You will start and play 30 minutes a game minimum.

SCOE NATION HAS BEEN UNLEASHED

I don't see that, I think he wants to at the 3 and knows he'll be slated for minutes & the 4 and is changing based that primarily.

If you didn't see one for AD, Alex, Jeremy or MB you probably won't see one for Scoe. All had their reasons and believed in them enough to want to leave. A fan thread wouldn't have changed anything. I wish them well and thank them for the memories but if you want to go then go. No player is bigger than the program. UConn will go forward; not backwards, up; not down, win; not lose.

I'm with the OP. This sucks. This one hurts more than Lamb, Drummond, Alex, or Bradley simply because it feels like it came out of nowhere. Roscoe is one of the kids that I thought was going to be here a full four years, a kid that I thought would leave with a champinship or two and one of the more beloved Huskies of all-time.

If he's leaving because he wants to play the three, I think he's making a mistake. Three, four, five...they are just positions, they aren't the be-all-end-all. Roscoe may be forced to guard fours on the other end, but that will only endeer him to the scouts because he can guard multiple positions. Offensively, whether he's the four or the three, I don't think it really matters. Without a true big, I expect UConn to run a spread out offense next year. Roscoe will be able to catch the ball on the wing, slash to the hoop, rebound, hit the open jump shot on guard penetration, etc. The lane won't be clogged with Oriakhi and Drummond this year, allowing Roscoe to shine. I don't think there is a better place for Roscoe's long term development than here, whether he's playing the three or the four. This stings.

Absolutely my favorite Husky since he's been here. I can't imagine what JC was thinking sticking him on the bench so often, can't really blame him if he felt he was treated unfairly. Wish he would reconsider though.
