Time Warner is my cable provider. Im in southern NH. I called and they said SNY was available. Oops, they said, it isnt available in your area, though they broadcast it elsewhere. Then they said I could purchase the sports package. Well, the video quality is real crappy. Cant read the numbers on the jerseys and sometimes cant tell whos who. Plus, nothing but the games are offered, no Geno Show or whatelse. Even slid our couch up close to the tv. Stinks. Thinking about DISH Tv, then I cant find SNY there as well on their website. Direct tv has SNY but looks like a less desirable deal altogether. Im looking for advice. Thanks in advance

In NH it's called NESN. You can watch the BU, BC, and Harvard games. ;)
Just joking, I feel your pain, that would drive me crazy. When I visit my daughter in southeastern MA their cable lineup lists SNY, but I can never get it to show up. Good luck!

IDK. However my SNY here in WMass is in SD and it's a little hard sometimes to see the numbers. I usually just go by the players build, movement, hair. Although on occasion Nurse and Williams give me a little trouble. Both about 6-0, athletic builds, buns and drive hard to the hoop. Everybody else moves or looks quite different.

I get SNY on Comcast on the NH Seacoast. Not HD quality but ok...Games are simulcast on ESPN 3 although blocked in some areas.

LOL. Nurse and Williams. exactly. (usually Nurse goes forward, Williams goes up, though lately Nurse has backed off on the run-up-the-middle ;), so its harder to tell. ...)

Thanks, that NESN remark cracked me up. Connecticut is still in New England, isn't it?

I have DirecTV and love it. It is not the cheapest alternative but it gives me access to EVERY UConn game, whether it be on SNY, ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN U, CBSSN, FS1, etc. I feel your pain with the crappy video quality and honestly since the inception of HD, I couldn't imagine watching a game n SD.

Yeah, it is definitely better these days. I would say I lose service maybe a couple times a year, during a really bad t-storm or snow storm, but that usually only lasts for a couple of hours, and usually only effects the HD versions of each channel.
