Gotta go with Syracuse in the Garden last year. We really need to hang some pelts on the wall that tourney committee will put in the good column. The first opportunity is coming up.

Last year, Oregon was one of those get behind 21-5 in the first five minutes games. If we open the way we did versus BU, we'll be in the same position again. Oregon should take a small step backwards this year but Portland, for geography majors, is in Oregon and they will have a great home court advantage. But that would make a win mean even more.

Cuse last year even though they were bad. Before that, the last cincy win perhaps or maybe Colorado in the first round...

2015 - 2016 had a number of good wins (Michigan, @ Texas, SMU, Cincy in AAC tournament, Colorado in NCAA 1st rd) but I'm not sure there was a true signature win.

"Signature wins" are high water marks. Here's a picture of our last signature win.

Beating unranked Oregon is not a signature win for 4 time national championship UCONN Huskies. Beating MSU yes.
But it could be if we play well and the team starts to jell. The win could give them the confidence and momentum to compete with better competition. If you going to be a dangerous team playing great in an early tournament far from home could be the catalyst. I’ll be optimistic for now

at least both Larrier and Gilbert will be in the lineup Thursday night. If they both get injured before Thursday's game, we'll probably start being down 21-5 again
