The following UConn football practices will be open to the public: Tuesday, August 7 (3:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m.), Tuesday, August 14 (3:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m.) and Saturday, August 18 (8:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.). All three practices will be held on the practice fields behind the old Memorial Stadium site and are off of Alumni Drive. Parking for these practices will be available for free in “D” lot. In case of inclement weather, please check UConnHuskies.com for updates.

We’ll have access Friday (4:30-7:30) first day. Tuesday Aug.7, (3-5:30), Friday, Aug.10 is team media day (1:15), Tuesday Aug.14 (3-5:30), Saturday Aug. 18 (8:45-11-15 a.m.); and then the final media availability before the opener against UMass (Aug.30), will be on Aug. 26, at 1:30. The Tuesday Aug.7, Aug.14 and Aug.18 practices are open to the public.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I remember a lot more media availability a few years ago. I don't understand why the change in policy in limiting media coverage? It's free advertisement.
