Anyone else wonder why a wheel/transport chair is not available (or not used) for injured players? The awkward player/trainer under arm assist seems to do more harm than good. Just wondering.
My wife asked me the same thing as Nika was "walked" off the court.
Unfortunately, I have no idea why they don't have something to take the weight off the foot/leg.

A very good point. I was thinking the same.

A small golf cart would be ideal.

I have never seen that at a basketball game - might have originally involved the access issues - stairs, etc. Also, they are very protective of the surface of the court - probably also no longer as big a deal.

I also think athletes generally don't want to 'show weakness' and being wheeled out ...

My wife, also, mentioned a wheel-chair should always be waiting nearby.

Wives are smarter than husbands. It's just the way it is. It has taken a few years, but I have learned to accept it. :D

A wheelchair makes too much sense for the NCAA and some of them cost a hundred dollars!
If the NCAA had wheelchairs it would look like this
