- After a scoreless first minute, Solo drives in to break the scoring ice, with an assist from Tarris.
- Mullins hits a midrange jumper to make it 4 zip!
- Wtf Alex? Pass to no-one?
- After another fruitless Gtown possession, Braylon hits a 3 to make it 7 zip!
- Other than Mullins' lone made three, our outside shooting is horrific so far.
- No sooner did I type that than Alex drained a three.
- Smith to Reed for the lay-in at 9:09 was an absolute thing of beauty.
- Demary to Reed, even prettier than Smith to Reed earlier.
- Lead reaches double digits at 6:44
- First foul shots of the game come with 25 seconds left in the half. For Gtown. Made 1 of two to cut our lead back to eleven.
- Karaban fouled driving to the bucket with 4 seconds left. Hurley going absolutely nuts because they didn't call it a shooting foul.
- Halftime shooting stats are embarrassing. UConn 45/17/0, Gtown 32/9/67. Gtown's 67% on FTs is 2 out of 3. Our zero is the result of not getting a single attempt in the half.
- Mullins 15 points at the half is just shy of half our point total. So far, it's his best outing of the year, and mostly he's working for shorter shots. (only 1 of 5 from deep) He's also got 3 boards and a block to his credit.
- Early 2nd half... What the hell was Tarris doing playing D on a guard out at half court and leaving their center unguarded under the hoop? Worst single mistake I've seen him make all season.
- Gtown punishing us for sending our center outside this half.
- Our 15 point lead down to 8 just over 6 minutes into the half.
- Insane that with 6:30 left, we still haven't taken a foul shot.
- No sooner did I mention that, and Braylon gets fouled and makes 2 freebees.
- A game that's been so foul-free has suddenly become a whistle-fest.
- After leading by as much as 25, we come away with a 16 point win.
- Shooting percentages 47,32,75 to 38,13,73. Boards,dimes,TOs,steals & blocks -- 34,21,12,4,6 to 24,10,11,4,1
- Despite shooting 2 for 9 from deep. Mullins led us with 21 points, while Demary was the only other Husky in double figures with 10.
- In a weird twist, Reed led us in assists (8), while Demary led the way in rebounds with 9.
- The final in the league tournament pits us against St. Johns, whom we lost to by 9, and beat by 32 this season. Should be an interesting battle for BE supremacy.
