As far as I can determine this is a mutiny based on the infusion of talent into last year's returning National Championship team. Under the Calhoun system, the person playing with the most gusto at that moment plays. When Napier said mid season that the team had no heart, he was on the money. Goodbye to the cry babies. Without Kemba they couldn't win anything.

Roscoe had a good jumper in HS. What happened? Alex plays every other game. They both think they are better than they actually are.

Lamb is a good kid, but he won't be a first rounder, and Drummond is lost is space, but boy can he run and dunk. Good luck to both.

The Huskies will do better than last year. They need to sue the NCAA to get into the tournament. What BS are these rules, anyway? Kentucky looses the entire team? What is their graduation rate?

Your post made very little sense.

No, mutiny is the correct word. Cry babies is a correct assessment, and they are looooosers, with one O. (Thanks for the correction.) Alex O and Smith sat because they weren't as good as the other players at the time. Is there any other way at UConn? Does Calhoun sit the better player?

I kind of figured all these transfers would weed out the crappy bandwagon fans. Guess not.

Okay, it's a good thing that everyone is transferring, right? I'm just a bad fan.
These guys are self interested babies.

Lamb will be a lottery pick. A lot of mock drafts have him going in the top 10. What are you talking about?

The rest of us can separate the fact that, while players transferring isn't good for the program, those players have to do what's best for themselves. Roscoe wants to play the 3. Whether or not you agree that he's a 3, he was going to play at the 4 almost exclusively next year if he stayed. Oriakhi is a Senior and wants to play in the NCAAs. How can you possibly be so selfish to try to take that away from him?

I wish both of those guys the best, and if Michael Bradley decides to leave too, I wish him the best as well. You don't need to be a to be a diehard.

Some have speculated that players are leaving because Calhoun is retiring, but that doesn't make sense. They'd want to know who the new coach was first. This is all about the tournament ban, IMO, or there is a chemistry issue on this team that is deeper than anyone realizes.

Okay, let's let everyone go there own way because they didn't get their own way. Babies, babies, babies. Oh, Roscoe wanted to play the 3 spot. Gee wiz, I guess he should transfer.

I like Lamb, but if he goes in the first round, I will be surprised. Why not count the players who are better? There are 30 first round picks. He may sneak in, but no lottery for him.

I will check back with all of you on this. And, for the person who told me to STFU, please do the same.

How can anyone stand by and condone these babies crying to go to another school and say they are Husky fans?

Near Nyack - I'm assuming your screen name has the obvious meaning of you residing near Nyack. If this is the case, do you know if there is still a Fatburger at the Palisades Mall?

I was really excited by the beginning of this sentence, but then it didn't end "never post again", so I got sad.

You're free to your baseless opinions, I suppose. Fact: he will go first round. Ironclad fact.

I don't think there is a Fatburger in the Palisades Mall. (What a terrible place!) I never had a Fatburger. Are they any good?

Sorry that people are so upset about my knocking Lamb and Drummond's draft ranking. I like these players, but the team played terribly this year, especially when there are so many players that are so highly regarded. How do you explain that? This team was a terrible disappointment this year. When a player calls his teammates "heartless" in public, they usually are. Oriakhi and Smith quitting the team is outrageous. Absolutely outrageous. Oriakhi has the worst hands I have seen at UConn, and Smith can't find his jumper because he never had one. Does anyone wonder why these guys were on the bench?

I don't agree with the OP about Scoe, and maybe he went a little to far, but he's onto something

we just weren't very good last year, for whatever the reason

Willie you are right. Actually, this team had some very nice talent. It's a shame they are all quitting or going to the pros. Oriakhi and Smith are an embarrassment to the program. If you have ever seen a UConn practice you know that every player must compete for playing time every time he steps on the court. Both of them did last season and lost PT to better players. So they quit? It's that simple.

Alex Oriakhi and Roscoe Smith are giving your (and my) team a black eye. They don't like UConn, Calhoun and the coaches, and the team, enough to stay. Players like that are not in the tradition of UConn so let them go. So, call me what you want, but they are egocentric crybabies. Next years team will be better off with out them, if that's their thinking.

I believe that Lamb and Drummond have an obligation to go to the NBA, if they will be drafted, which they will. IMHO, maybe not as high as foretasted. That's yet to be seen, I'm just basing that on what I saw in games last season. What has happened to NCAA BB is too bad. One and done wins it, what a shame. These players leaving the team is a disgrace to our program, to the UConn community, to all the coaches, and their teammates. If that doesn't make sense to anyone, you need to think about it.

I think lamb and drummond will get drafted in the first round, regardless of whether they should be or not.
