Angel likes to wear nail polish and maybe false eyelashes too, so maybe UConn doesn't align with her values.
I think you understand quite well that it's not only about them fitting in with UConn, but about UConn management fitting the contemporary values of today's players.
IDK, but these are real life issues and perhaps reasons that give players pause to not chose to transfer to UConn if they have multiple options.
Some players may be willing to conform, I guess that time will tell if & when a top transfer shows up.

Being traded to the Yankees has led to a lot of MLB players to shave their beards and to cut their long hair.
But then they're getting paid a lot of money.
And many pro sports players contracts have a list of teams that they don't want to be traded to.
