Whatever happened to chevtheman?

Before @3uconn came on the scene, the BY's resident high school aged recruiting guru was @chevtheman. I recall his extensive coverage of Drummond's recruitment. He even started another UConn fan site called uconnball.com (now defunct).

Though it looks like he hasn't been seen here since Novemeber 2013. Any idea what happened to him? @husky99 you might know better than anyone.

I think the old guard chased him off. He was early on twitter and took stuff for it

Also, wasn't there an issue with his claim to be the recruiting insider vs other posters?

He and I used to write for UConnBall - the guy who ran the site was a sketch and agreed to pay us for articles, interviews, updates, etc. We did about two months of work, including numerous articles and interviews, during the time when Jim Calhoun stepped down.

During that time I got an interview with Terrence Samuel and his high school coach about his commitment and was guaranteed some decent money and then randomly the guy shut down the website and just disappeared. If I remember, Chev got mad because that was "his" site. That combined with people giving him crap here probably led to his disappearance. He's in college now and probably drinks a ton, and rightfully so.
