The AAC is a bridge too far.
If they had retained Boise & San Diego State, then they would have had to grab Fresno. Maybe Utah State. Pods across America
UConn & Temple & Navy (other division - which again makes me think of Gladchuk) are a disconnected Island. We could have had a 4-6 Team Northeast.
This conference listened. And they took Tulane & Tulsa ... to please SMU & Houston & Memphis. The noise we hear changes depending on Larry Brown staying + Kelvin Sampson building + Penny rising. It’s transit. If we had our own little corner of 4-6 Northeastern pod, our days would have been better. And who knows. It’s a conference growing ... but it’s school by school vulnerable.
It’s nice to see one Coach move on ... get a comparable next coach (Temple & Memphis). But I’d think it’s shaky ground; particularly knowing any of them would leap at a B12 offer.
For me -Simple. We had a Fanbase. We know we can climb back to Historic levels with MSG games. We need that now.
