The Twins had some hard luck last year with injuries and finished at the bottom of the AL Central Division, but now they have signed Correa.
Do you think that he'll help to improve the Twins playoff chances this year?
If they can make the playoffs then anything can happen.
The Twins have gone from last place to winning a WS before, and TC fans are buying tickets like crazy.
Some good video takes in the article and snippet below.

He'll get a big paycheck from them?
Yes, he'll be the highest paid infielder in baseball at $35.1 mil per year for 3 years with an opt out after each year.
He can choose to leave and become a free agent after each year which is a unique contract designed to accommodate him.
He was reported offered over $27 per year for 10 years by the Tigers but he turned them down.
The Twins and Correa are giving each other a chance to see if he likes being on the team or whether he'll get a better long term offer.

He can thank Brian Cashman giving a helping hand to the Twins so they could pay him.

Yes, the Yankees and Twins have made some trades over the years.
I guess this time the Twins must have known which buttons to push because the Yankees really wanted to acquire Isiah Kinah-Fale and to dump Gary Sanchez, so the Twins were able to dump Donaldson's salary.

Correa started out with stellar defense but was a little slow to get his bat going.
But he's now upped his BA to .256 and the Twins have a 3 game lead and are in 1st place in the AL Central.
The Twins fans are happier than a pig in the mud as TC is winning with good defense, and the Chisox & Detroit defenses imploded while playing them.
Carlos has expressed being really happy in the Twins clubhouse and desiring a long term contract in Minny.
In this young season he's been the most fun to watch of any Twins player other than Buxton's bat.
He's makes tough plays look easy on a routine basis and has given the team motivation to play their best.
I've heard some boos when he's at plate in other ballparks, but I think that he uses it as an incentive to hit the ball.
He's always smiling and upbeat during interviews, and seems to get along with every player on both teams,
He's definitely a joy to watch and is bringing happiness to Twins fans as TC has won 9 of their last 10 games.
