UCONN has been exposed several times this year and nothing has changed. IMO, Stef is not playing like she did last Feb and March. Why?? To me, she looks like her body does not want to get where is suppose to and she is caught out of position too many times. Who's fault is that? I am not sure what the coaching staff wants her to do. I do know that every UCONN player gets beat off the dribble too may times and last night cost them the game. I watch every game and the same problem occurs. Why??
This might be the best loss the UCONN ever had last night. Now, they can fix these problems once and for all. I counted 10 (2) Pointers and 4 (3) Pointers that were caused by bad defense and slow flat feet. Do the math, 32 points......OUCH!!caused by players beaten off the dribble or not being guarded and left wide open......If the missed 50% of those shots with better defense, UCONN wins going away.....
Watch the St John's kids play defense and you see the difference, very quick feet. They will make some serious noise in the BE tourn and the NCAA's.....
