Hard to take much away from that game. DePaul is awful.
true but every big east game is "big" at this point. we really should be able to beat 'nova, pitt and providence coming up, but who knows. maybe we can steal the marquette game too if we bring our A game. would certainly end the season much better than that horrible stretch where we were 3-8...

did we play well today, or was it just that Depaul is really bad? or maybe a combo of both?

Napier coming on strong as of late. Last two games; 18 assists to 3 TO's, and also shooting 50%. Very interested to see if he continues this play in the Marquette game. Alex is playing with great passion, and I am also intrigued to how he reacts to the physicality of Marquette and their bigs.

Prezident pointed out earlier in the year that Napier is the key to this team. The last two games have reaffirmed that.

One rebound away from 3 double doubles not bad against any team. They sure look good when they run

I think if we played DePaul 100 times, we'd win 100 times.

The biggest factor, of course, is they stink. But if you recall the Arkansas game, the best way to make us look really good offensively is to press and trap the whole game. Boatright is really hard to trap, and every time he splits a double team in the backcourt it leads to dunks on the other end.

Andre started the game trying to dunk every ball rather than waiting until the second half like he did against cuse....

he should literally be trying to dunk everything he gets inside of 6 feet because, as we've seen, he's more than capable of doing just that with his freak athleticism

He was mixing it up a little; pushing shoving even bullying. He is no longer a BE virgin.

Depaul is a pretty bad team, but we just handed them their worst beating of the year. They actually had been competitive in a few recent games against decent competition. I am happy with the result.

I agree- it seemed like a light went off in his head in the second half at the Carrier Dome.... go strong or go home.... i'm glad his ankle seems to be just fine bc he is a beast when he wants to be.... although I'll say that he should lay off the turnaround jumpers for now and just drop step and try and dunk....

Just what the doctor ordered, a strong victory! It doesn't matter that DePaul stinks, we pounded them like we should have. This was how I expected the team to perform for most of the season.
