Anybody recognize the music being played by the pep band during the timeout after Lou missed the two foul shots?

Hard to hear with the crowd and announcer noise. Did not sound like the longhorn fight song though.

Definitely wasn't the fight song. Sounded like a circus march at times, but it also sounded military. Hope somebody can peg it.

It's "The Eyes of Texas are upon you", which uses the tune from the old folk song, "I've Been Working on the Railroad."

Thanks--that's it!!
You are welcome.
Started at google. Which took me to their web site. Which took me to their facebook page.
Watched a promo video and paused it on some sheet music.

Then went to YouTube and tried it out. That is a catchy little tune! :)

I did not but your post hit my funny bone. I have been working on a song by Led Zeppelin and was doing so pre-game. A bit off topic but then again Lou did miss two foul shots. :(
A song from Led Zepplin which I am sure many pep bands are not playing. This unless they are afraid to go back to Texas. :D

Thanks for finding this. I had that one stuck in my head after the game. Very impressive arrangement that gives low brass a time to lead the band -- I'm a low brass fan. The TX band has the size and skill to blast that tune out there.

The late lamented Southwest Conference had some memorable fight songs.
That Good Old Baylor Line (Good Old Summertime)
The Eyes of TExas (I Been Workin' on the Railroad)
Peruna (SMU) (She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain)
