As a long time FB board participant and long time mostly BB board lurker, here is what I'll take from this team and coach this year.
Every play and every game is just a microcosm of a much bigger picture. My biggest fault is my lack of tolerance for people who berate our FB team and coaches after almost every play/quarter/game.
I try to look at the big picture. Every play is a learning experience. It is a part of the so called end game.
Just look at the growth of Boat and DD by the end of the year. Look at how Giff, a 50% shooter ended up being a rock on the boards....major reason why we advanced in the tourney. PN...'nuff said...he was just great today.
My point is this. Maybe as a fan base we can grow and not freak out from every loss and every bad pass. Bad passes are just part of getting to be a better passer.
I think with KO and our new FB coach Diaco, we have 2 of the most talented and positive coaches you could ask for. I don't for a minute believe the AAC is our end game.
The future is bright.
