What the hell is American Sports Network?

Isn't that the channel that carried the opening games of the Battle 4 Atlantis last year?

Doesn't seem to be on FIOS.

If 2 or 3 teams leave the AAC, the CW will likely be the only place to find AAC games.

Oh, BTW, you need to attend the Maine game at the Rent.

Well sure, for the first viewing, but I'm rarely sober for that one. Subsequent viewings have to be on television due to the logistical difficulties of time travel.

I'm glad this will be on WCCTV (Channell 20/780 for Charter Fairfield County Folks)

90% sure I'll be at the game anyway but there's an off chance the crew I go with may not be able to and I'm not driving to East Hartford alone.

If you need a ride from Fairfield County I know of a couple possibilities.

The ASN is a somewhat new sports divison of Sinclair Broadcasting (CW/Mynetwork)

They produce games mostly for their stations but syndicate them other places as well.

WCTX is in the network - but not owned by Sincair.

They have a ton of small deals with small conferences. From the A-10 to the Big South to CUSA.

Looks like they sublet this one from ESPN.

They might have produced them but that was Mark Cuban's AXS TV.

Getting to the rent remains a little unrealistic for some of us.... Does all this mean no espn3 for Maine?

@Dooley has been harping on our Tier 3 rights..and after thinking about it..they would really be key right if we get in to the B-12 or not. With the facility upgrades upcoming to baseball, hockey, soccer, and softball how hard would it be to get them set up to produce digital online content for HuskyVision which already exists...as well as selling a package of it to someone like SNY or YES. A lot of the HE schools have this set-up..and it is the one way I can watch UConn hockey in Westchester County if it isn't on the NESN version I have on FIOS. You can utilize the IMG/CT Radio Network and WHUS for play-by-play and color..as well as put the coaches shows on. Make that available to UConn alumni/fans world wide.

Does one have to sign up for twitter to see this game then?
