A tough sparring partner today. Want to sum up the progression of this team? Last minute team runs a play for Adams to get a basket in his final game. He actually has a bit of a lane and instead of taking the shot, he kicked out to Richie Springs for the J. Gave up the basket for an assist. Pretty cool. Now, some master of the obvious. If UConn shoots that well from 3, they're winning almost every game. Neat to be able to hear Ewing and Hurley barking at their players all game long. Kudos to Patrick and the Hoyas for not packing it in the second half. They played tough and made UConn keep working. My preseason prognostication of Andrew Hurley playing as many minutes this season or more as Javonte Brown Ferguson was brilliant. That putback dunk by Sanogo on Polley's missed corner 3 got Sanogo the double double in one move. Looked real close to an offensive goaltend though. Cole was great in the first half and hopefully he can see how he can positively affect the game and effectively run the team without scoring. The first 3-4 minutes of the second half were rough for Cole but then he recovered and finished the second half strong. Really liked seeing Josh have a strong final home game and Whaley and Polley contribute as well. We all know Bouk is a special scorer. And every announcing team we have had this year sees the same. He just looks effortless how he gets separation and clean looks. Also, Kellogg continues the theme of announcers seeing how good of a passer Jackson is in the games. When Gaff threw down the dunk, I think everyone was looking for the "Gaff Above Rim Athleticism" thread. Maybe that's what crashed the 'yard.
