Not that we are lighting it up and I will still laugh at their failures, but I want to see BE represent better.

It was basically the type of game they played against us last year.

Horrific loss for Rutgers and the conference. Back to back weeks an undefeated Big East squad goes down to a MAC team.

I really don't give a ** about too many big east losses anymore. If the conference gets decent wins I'll enjoy them a little but I can't get too worked up about this stuff for the forseeable future. After the deal is done and Boise and hopefully BYU join, if Louisville is still around, then I might be more overtly invested in being pro-Big East but until then it is what it is.

On the other hand... at least the SEC is eating its own for once (Georgia knocking down florida). But we'll see how the pundits spin it.

There isn't anything to spin. Georgia and Florida are both really good. Georgia will win to SEC title game. They beat Alabama and they have a really good shot at BCS title game.

You can cross USC off the list now though - and they do less for ND and Oregon if they beat them.

I feel like I need to write a poem about Rutgers:

Oh Rutgers, how I hate thee,
Whether it's as you beat us when we play our $#ittiest,
Or when you embarrass us by playing your $#ittiest,
I hate, I hate,
Turnover, turnover, turnover.......turnover,
Oh Rutgers, how I hate thee.

I clearly didn't bring a lot of "funny" today, but it is an off-week...

Kent State lost to Kentucky 47 -14.
Living in the middle of SEC country I can tell you that a team losing to a team that lost to KY in football is considered the lowest of the low. For SEC fans RU is now officially whale dung.

I'm pretty sure they were before today.

Terrible loss for the Big East but hey, we would lose to Kent State too.

We would lose to the Kent State Field Hockey Team.
No. Our Field Hockey team is one of the three or four best in the country this year (almost every year for that matter).

I think he means that if Kent State's field hockey team decided to play football, he thinks it would beat UConn's football team. I can not prove his argument false.
