What is 2nd best FB team in CT?

I'm asking b/c I don't know how to compare the different levels, but figure someone here will know better ...

- Sacred Heart (1-AA)
- Central CT (1-AA)
- Yale (1-AA)
- New Haven (II)
- Southern CT (II)
- Trinity (III)
- the top HS team in the state

Whoever is better between Central and Yale most years. Most likely Yale this year.

In my opinion, it's hard to define "second best" amongst the levels outside of FBS.

Yes, they are D2 but keep an eye on UNH. Returned a boatload of players from a team that went to DII play-offs last year.They are curretly ranked #12 in the American Football Coaches Association top-25 poll. HC Pete Rossomando's high powered offense is lead by QB Ryan Osiecki (Mike's older brother). Rossomando is a Tony Sparano disciple.

Trinity College as a historically strong program for D3. Coast Guard Academy is as D3.
