It wasn't just one game it was several. I suspect that condensation formed on the stickers from the ice underneath quicker than on the wood. Just the slightest amount of moisture and watch out.

Two players with a history of serious knee injuries and we had to worry about them slipping or falling awkwardly on stickers this past year. If I'm Geno I'm out there ripping those stickers up. I suppose the refs could stop the game and declare the court unfit for play.
