like Mincy of Maryland, and Goodrich of Kansas. I was familiar with Mincy from the recruiting a couple of years ago, but i had not heard of, or seen, Goodrich. these two can really play, and there are others . it's a very good sign that more very good players , not just the ones we hear about all the time, are beginning to come along. who are the others that have been noticed in the tournament?

Tony Kornheiser used to do a column each year on the great names in the men's side of the NCAA tournament. I love this one: Megan Van Tatenhove. If she has kids later in life, they surely will be called the Taten Tots.

Jenkins runs hot and cold, but she was extremely hot against Marist. She'll need to be even hotter against ND. Van T was terrific against FGCU and less so against Marist. Obviously, Bonnies will need everyone to have the game of their lives to challenge the Irish.

As I said in the game thread, good for Goodrich showing out on national TV. Kansas may be in a power conference, but it's not like she's gotten much more TV exposure, if any, than EDD.

I loved that column! I remember God Shammgod especially, and now ESPN has a Page 2 bracket you can vote in (and there is a God Shammgod region )
