Diaco's comments at halftime were pretty uh.... Interesting.

Didn't see it but I'll take a wild stab: the rock is the football and he wants the defense to tap it forcing fumbles. Our turnover margin is awful.

So it's actually a technical term and not some rally cry like "chopping wood". Thank god. Got it.

Hopefully the players know what "tapping the rock" means, but I'm not at all sure they do.

Think its "pullin the pork: cause that was the major part of the day

So just watched the first half on DVR...had no clue what you guys were talking about yesterday. That was a pretty strange interview. He seemed incoherent and was swaying like he was Stevie Wonder. Tap the rock, scratch where it itches..I have no clue wth he was talking about

These descriptions of Diaco's comments are freaking me out... afraid to watch them for fear I'm gonna see a younger version of Greg Robinson. That guy got to a point where somebody needed to tranq-dart the poor b*st*rd. got to a point where I felt sorry for him.

He was the opposite of composed, he didn't seem to have a grasp of what was going on or what to do about it.

Forget "tap the rock". I want a tappening!

During the time of Moses the Israelites needed water and God told him to tap the rock and water would flow from it. It all happened when Moses was wandering through the desert leading his people to the promised land. This is similar to what HCBD is attempting to do. Lead UCONN to the Playoffs!

Here's what it means. And at Villanova , thay have an actual rock that they touch before practice and before the game.
