So I'm watching the Pats vs Bucs game and Dan O is looking good and the announcer starts talking about Shady.

He says, when Belichick was asked what impressed him about Shady when he was at Rutgers, Belichick said it was Shady taking a bad Rutgers program and making them a top 20 program....wait for it....the other announcer chimes in....."a perennial top 20 team"......

Speechless......

They also complimented him on his schemes as well. Those schemes and awesome recruiting are going to get him fired as the bucs will win about three games this year. Orlovsky looked the best freeman and glennon look lost. The defense cannot stop the run or pass.

One team ranked in the final AP/Coaches poll over 11 years (#12 in 2006).

68-67 @ Rutgers (28-48 BE record).

Influckincredible!

I almost fell out of my chair when I heard the "perennial Top 20" comments while watching the game. It is amazing how much Rutgers got out of ONE good season (that is already 7 years old).

I think it's very reasonable to believe that Shady can also turn the Bucs into a perennial top 20 team.

Kind of bizarre that the 2 teams had 8 RU players each in camp, the rest of the league might have 3 or 4. I wouldn't be really happy if I was a Bucs fan watching Schiano larding up the roster with his boys.
